A Heartwarming Book

Hello everyone, how are we all doing? Well, today I'm going to write a book review for an amazing book I recently read. I hope you enjoy the review, and give the book a look-see!

The Travelling Cat Chronicles: Arikawa, Hiro: 9780451491336: Books ...

The Travelling Cat Chronicles is one of the most beautiful books I've ever read.
Sure, I might be biased since I'm a cat-lover at heart, but you should really give this book a read.

We follow Nana, our feline protagonist, as he goes through life as a street cat. Life is normal, as our cat friend scours for food, finds shelter, and does all of the things you'd expect a street cat to do.

Then he meets Satoru.

Satoru is a middle-aged man, and when he first sees Nana sitting under his van, he doesn't hesitate to offer the cat some food. The two form a sort of bond over time, until one day Nana gets hit by a car. So he turns to the only person he knows can help him: Satoru. After months of recovery, Nana can go back outside, only he doesn't want to. He wants to stay with Satoru, his kind and caring owner (though Nana still does get his daily walks).

Until one day, Satoru starts up his van, and Nana and him are off on a road trip. Through the wild and raging sea (that Nana is not a fan of) to the cat and dog-friendly hotel with the box TV that warms up cats' little bellies (which Nana is a fan of), the pair travel through the night and day, seeing things they'd never even dreamed of, and helping a few people along the way.

This book gave me a whirlwind of emotions, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Have a nice day, and stay safe!

☆ A lil' update ☆

Hey!

So, I know everything has been crazy with coronavirus and all, so I just wanted to make a mini update. Since school is closed because of the virus, I've had more time to focus on my hobbies! That means drawing, playing my ukulele, and doing crafts (yes, I'm neglecting writing. Leave me alone).

If you're bored, I would highly suggest starting up your own blog. It's really fun, and a good way to pass time!

Also, lately I've been listening to Dodie Clark a lot. She's an amazing ukulele player and songwriter! If you're looking for new music I would suggest you go check her out. If you wanna see some more music I like, I have a playlist here on YouTube. Just keep in mind it's literally all over the place.

What else, what else... Ah! I've been really trying to make comics more on Tapastic, even though I'm kind of demotivated for some reason? You can check them out here: https://tapas.io/series/The-Otter-Side

In any case, I've just been chilling around the house. I have online classes, so that keeps me occupied for a good portion of the day, but it's only for three hours.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have a whole board on Pinterest with crafts you can do. There's even a whole section with crafts where all you need is paper, so you don't need many supplies to do these. You could even try doing some origami!

Anyway, let's close this up. Stay safe, out there, and have a nice day!
